Presenting perfectly with Multimedia interest – PowerPoint, Prezi and iPads
Got a presentation to give? Want your audience to be impressed? Wish to make best use of technology? The next media skills training course from Green Shoots ‘Presenting Powerfully‘ will help you to achieve all that and more.
Whether Sharing ideas or research, or selling good or services, the competition for attention is fierce. Having clear and compelling messages, conveying them cleverly and getting them seen and heard, remembered and acted upon is what matters. In this course you will lear how to use multimedia as the means to make that happen.
This Green Shoots training course helps you make creative use of PowerPoint, but that is only the start. There are so many more tools at your fingertips. We introduce you to multidimensional presenting with Prezi. We also share tips and techniques for using iPads, images and film to give your presentation animation and added interest.
The course will focus on:
- Clarifying the messages
- Planning the points
- Using props
- Making best use of PowerPoint
- clever text
- images
- use of iPads
- selecting, editing and assembling images into photo stories using iMovie on an iPad
- editing film footage, adding text and sound
- Projecting for power: slide screen to flat screen, wired or Bluetooth
You will work on your own multimedia presentation which will be assessed ready for you to take away.
